Established in 2006, Mind The Gap – Africa is a registered charity that that cares for abandoned and orphaned children in Zimbabwe. Their primary aim is to rescue abandoned children and give them a ‘forever home’ with a family.

‘Children living in poverty experience deprivation of the material, spiritual and emotional resources needed to survive, develop and thrive, leaving them unable to enjoy their rights, achieve their full potential or participate as full and equal members of society’ (UNICEF 2004)

For Christmas 2020, the team at Vision et Consilium Foundation created clothing care packages for 26 children in Zimbabwe. Each package was assembled based on individual measurements to ensure that perfect fit, along with a handwritten note from a member of our team. We were overwhelmed with the response we received. This was our first project with Mind The Gap Africa and we look forward to working with them again in the near future.
